Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LumeLogix ("the Service"). By using LumeLogix, you agree to these Terms.

What the Service does

LumeLogix is a website analysis tool that checks how well your site works with AI assistants and search engines. Specifically:

  • Crawls your public pages: We fetch your homepage and up to 10 linked pages, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and other public resources
  • Analyzes AI-readiness: Checks AI crawler access, AI guidance files (llms.txt, sitemap), structured data (JSON-LD, Open Graph), content clarity (title, meta description, headings), and performance (HTTPS, page availability)
  • Runs AI mention test: Sends 3 sample queries to OpenAI (free scan) or more comprehensive queries (monitoring plan) to test whether AI assistants mention your business
  • Provides fixes: Complete actionable fixes with code, generated llms.txt and JSON-LD schema files, and a public shareable report
  • Creates public reports: Each scan generates a report at lumelogix.com/r/[scan-id] that anyone with the link can view

Monitoring Plan ($29/month)

The optional paid plan adds:

  • Weekly automatic rescans for up to 3 sites
  • More comprehensive AI mention testing
  • Score history and trend tracking
  • Email alerts when your score drops

Your responsibilities

By using LumeLogix, you agree that:

  • The website you submit is publicly accessible (not behind authentication)
  • You own or have permission to scan the website
  • You will not use the Service for automated bulk scanning, to overload or attack websites, or to bypass rate limits or other technical protections
  • You will not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Service

Public reports and sharing

Each scan creates a public report at lumelogix.com/r/[scan-id]. Anyone with that link can view the complete results. Only share the link with people you trust. If you embed the optional score badge on your website, it links to your public report.

Rate limits and usage restrictions

Free scans are limited to 100 per day per IP address to prevent abuse. We may adjust these limits or temporarily suspend access if we detect automated or abusive usage patterns.

AI mention test disclaimer

The AI mention test uses live OpenAI models, and their answers change from run to run. Results are a snapshot, not a ranking or guarantee of AI performance. Treat results as guidance, not as professional advice or a definitive measurement. We do not guarantee that implementing fixes will cause AI assistants to mention your business.

Accuracy and liability

LumeLogix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive for accurate analysis and recommendations, but we do not guarantee results. Payment and subscriptions

For the monitoring plan:

  • Billing is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your payment card details
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month at $29 unless canceled
  • You can cancel anytime via your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

Service availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

Intellectual property

  • Use the downloadable files (llms.txt, JSON-LD schema) on your own website
  • Share your public report link

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
